A psychic and physical reaction (as anger or fear) subjectively experienced as feeling and physiologically involving changes that prepare the body for action.

Herbal treatment

A plant or plant part or an extract or mixture of these used to prevent, alleviate, or cure disease.

Kinesiology

Kinesiology promotes healing of body, mind and essence. It is a complete, natural health care system. Aimed to uncover and resolve underlying causes of both short-term and long-standing health problems.

Blending principles of traditional oriental medicine with modern western techniques, Kinesiology results in a powerful, holistic therapy.

Based on the principle that health and well-being are dependant on structural, nutritional, mental and emotional balance. Imbalance in any one of these systems can block the body's natural healing ability.

Kinesiology uses a technique of muscle testing to identify disturbed energy patterns in the body's various systems. Muscles reflect the body's overall state of health. They represent where the 'mind and body meet'.

It works by restoring the balanced action of the body's energy systems, promoting self-healing and well-being. Change and balance are brought about by a broad spectrum of both manual and non-manual therapeutic procedures, which may include nutritional supplements, flower remedies, exercise programs and lifestyle changes.

Kinesiology can be used for an incredibly wide spectrum of health issues, for example:

- Anxiety and stress - Eczema - Mental performance
- Arthritis - Food sensitivities - Physical injuries
- Asthma - Hormone imbalance - Post traumatic stress
- Back problems - Learning/speech difficulties - sleeping disorders
- Confidence building - Memory - vitamin & mineral deficiencies

Mud baths

An immersion of the body or a part of it in mud (as for the alleviation of rheumatism or gout)

Pranic healing

Pranic or life force is the animating principle of all living things. When the body is sick or in pain, the life force and the body's energy field are affected. Pranic healing teaches the technique of cleansing and recharging the energy body.

Origins

Pranic Healing® has its origins in ancient times. The Indian Rishis, Chinese Taoists, and Tibetan Monks are among the many who have been using "Prana" or energy in healing for centuries. Until recently, however, the system was taught and practiced secretly and selectively for fear of misuse.

Master Choa Kok Sui, a Filipino of Chinese origin, has rediscovered these ancient techniques and, through careful research at The Institute for Inner Studies in Manila, has developed them into a documented science. The Institute for Inner Studies is a specialist research body that is continuously engaged in further research and development. The World Pranic Healing Foundation was founded in 1990 to lift the shroud of mystery from this ancient healing form and teach it to the common person so it can benefit all of humanity and the planet.

Reflexology

The study and interpretation of behavior in terms of simple and complex reflexes. Massage of the feet or hands based on the belief that pressure applied to specific points on these extremities benefits other parts of the body.
